Starbucks Reserve Dewata

#HawaiianAirlineTicketEvent

🔖 Pros/Cons

- Pros: As the largest in Southeast Asia, it's huge and has a lot to see, even though you're at Starbucks, it feels like you're in a cozy café, (based on the 2nd floor) quiet and good for working, strong Wi-Fi
- Cons: Location is somewhat inconvenient to walk to, taste is similar to other Starbucks, not enough power outlets

It was built as the largest in Southeast Asia. The interior store layout and concept were inspired by traditional Balinese houses, featuring decor rich in Indonesian culture.

By the way, the word "DEWATA" after Starbucks Reserve is a very sacred term.

"Dewata" means "god" or "divine being" in Indonesian/Balinese, and in Bali, it is also known as "Pulau Dewata" (Dewata Island), which means "Island of the Gods."

This name is deeply connected to Bali's unique Hindu culture.

Bali is the region in Indonesia where Hinduism is most strongly preserved, and religious rituals and beliefs are deeply embedded in everyday life.

There are two ways to enter; this is the entrance visible from the main road and is the most common way.

We came by motorbike and happened to find out there is also a back door to exit.

Generally, everyone enters through this door.

It is said that the architecture and design are based on traditional Balinese culture (e.g., houses, farming), and that feeling is strongly conveyed from the entrance.

By the way, this store is divided into the 1st and 2nd floors, and the 1st floor is also divided into separate sections.

The large windows and spacious seating make it very pleasant to look at.

Note that all outdoor seats are in a smoking area. Bali is a paradise for smokers.

Besides tumblers and coffee machines, they also sold clothes and bags. The store was large and clean, making it a great space to do something.

Moreover, it seems sufficient for family tourists to come and chat or for couples and friends to come and enjoy a brief rest.
