Cepung Sebali Resort - A Healing Paradise in the Bali Jungle

In early May, I finally spent 3 nights and 4 days at the dream destination, Bali’s Cepung Sebali Resort! It truly felt like a secret garden hidden deep within the jungle~

🏨 Duplex Deluxe Suite
When we checked in and entered the room, we couldn’t help but say wow. The deluxe suite has a duplex layout, which was very spacious for just the two of us. Both the first and second floors had bedrooms, and the lush jungle view outside the window was absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was such a joy ㅜㅜ The air conditioning worked perfectly, so we stayed comfortable despite Bali’s hot weather.

🏊‍♀️ The Charm of the Jungle Infinity Pool
The highlight here is definitely the jungle infinity pool! Swimming in the pool felt like being right in the middle of the jungle. Floating surrounded by green trees and looking up at the sky, all my stress just melted away 🥹 The water was clean and the temperature was just right. However, since it’s open to outsiders, it got crowded around 2-4 PM. The best times to take photos and enjoy the pool peacefully are at 8 AM or after 5 PM at sunset! Don’t forget that😎

🍳 Breakfast at the Open-Air Restaurant
We had breakfast at the open-air restaurant with jungle views, where they served not only nasi goreng and mie goreng but also a variety of Western dishes. The tropical fruits were especially fresh and sweet! We indulged in mango, papaya, dragon fruit, and other fruits that are expensive and hard to find in Korea… (I’m not the only one, right? lol) But since it’s not indoors and fully open, it got really hot during the day… The fans were running, but Bali’s intense heat was unavoidable. Still, having breakfast while listening to birdsong was a special experience!

🪳 Unwelcome Guests in the Jungle Resort
On the first night, a cockroach appeared in our room, which startled us, but when we called the front desk, a staff member came up within 5 minutes and caught it. They apologized and even lit a mosquito coil for us before leaving. Being a resort in the forest, I guess it’s unavoidable… I decided to think of it as part of the natural experience. Fortunately, no big bugs appeared after that, just the occasional ant~ Thank goodness ㅎㅎ

🌾 Nearby Tourist Spots Tour
There are many famous tourist spots around the resort! Tegallalang Rice Terraces are about a 20-minute drive away, and we visited them. The terraced rice fields were truly spectacular. There are several cafes and pools to choose from, with Cretya Ubud and Tis Cafe being the most popular. It’s a bit far but definitely worth the trip. Ubud town is also just 30 minutes away, where we explored the Ubud Palace and traditional market, and enjoyed crispy duck at the famous Bebek Bengil restaurant~

🌺 Overall, an Amazing 3 Nights and 4 Days
If you want true relaxation in harmony with nature, I highly recommend this place! The staff were friendly, and daily room cleaning was thorough. However, if you’re sensitive to bugs, be sure to bring mosquito spray or coils. We were so satisfied that we decided to revisit here next time we go to Bali!

✅ One-liner: Perfect relaxation embraced by the Bali jungle, swimming in the jungle infinity pool is an unforgettable experience for life!
