Indonesia "REGENERASI" Touring Exhibition

Amandari is nestled above the lush Ayung River Gorge in Bali and has long been an integral part of the Ubud artist community.

Since opening, guests have been immersed in the captivating Indonesian culture of Bali. This summer, the resort partnered with Indonesia’s first "farm-to-wardrobe" sustainable brand, SukkhaCitta, to launch the "REGENERASI" touring exhibition—a journey of art that inspires reflection, draws inspiration, and rekindles care for the Earth.

During the final week of the exhibition at Amandari, the "REGENERASI" tour will move this autumn to Amanjiwo, another Aman resort located in Java. Known as the "Peaceful Soul," this hidden sanctuary is not only blessed with magnificent natural surroundings imbued with profound earth energy but also perfectly aligns with REGENERASI’s philosophy of returning to the essence of the land. Amanjiwo’s unique site energy will guide guests to deeply experience the timeless revelations of the exhibition and embark on a journey of awareness for harmonious coexistence with the Earth.

Each piece in the exhibition is handcrafted by female artisans using indigenous techniques, made from cotton grown through regenerative farming, and designed with a zero-waste, earth-returning ethos. REGENERASI is more than a fabric exhibition; it is a flowing narrative poem: each work tells how fashion can breathe new life into the land and living beings. The core message of the exhibition is that clothing can be a way to practice care for the Earth and for one another. SukkhaCitta, Amandari, and Amanjiwo share a common philosophy: to empower local communities with deep respect and guardianship, ensuring ancestral wisdom is sustainably passed down.

Through plant-dyed handmade fabrics, chemically-free regenerative cotton, and the stories behind each female artisan, the exhibition invites people to quietly rediscover the profound connection between clothing and lifestyle, gently awakening awareness that fashion can heal, empower, and bring renewal. This exhibition creates a space that is both contemplative and tactile, where guests can explore plant-dyed handmade fabrics and learn about the MAMA TANAH program. This program empowers women farmers to restore soil and sustainably manage their communities, and also showcases the debut of SukkhaCitta’s latest collection, "KAPAS Kala," made entirely from cotton grown on regenerative farms.

Exhibition period: Amandari July 4 to August 31, 2025
Amanjiwo September 1 to December 31, 2025
Opening hours: Open to the public daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
