Exceptional Hospitality at Umana Bali

Though our stay at Umana Bali was brief, lasting just three nights, the resort truly offered outstanding hospitality, making for a perfect short getaway from everyday tasks and commitments. Two weeks prior to our arrival, the staff was already in touch via email to learn about our preferences and plans, ensuring a seamless and personalized service throughout our trip. We traveled on a red-eye flight, and were grateful to be granted early check-in along with breakfast boxes. Unfortunately, we arrived too early for our room to be ready, so we spent some leisurely time at the nearby beach club, conveniently just a 3-minute shuttle ride away. Our Amex credit card package led to a complimentary room upgrade to the Ocean View Villa, a spacious and modern abode with hints of Balinese design. Although some of the lush greenery slightly obstructed the view, the scenery from the infinity pool was stunning. Ari, our curator for the stay, catered to our needs with attentiveness and promptness, greatly enhancing our holiday experience. Her dedication was evident as she continued to assist us even after her shift had ended, and we are grateful for her professionalism. Dining at the resort was outstanding. Whether at their central restaurant, 'Commune,' or enjoying the in-villa BBQ, the food quality was excellent. Our first dinner was a Balinese BBQ, which was an extraordinary experience. The three-course menu cleverly fused traditional Balinese flavors with modern Western cuisine. We wish to commend Wahyu, our waiter, for his politeness and knowledge, and Budi, the chef, who transformed grilling into an art form. In summary, staying at this resort would meet most of one's desires for a delightful vacation. We eagerly anticipate another visit to Bali in the future.
