Fansipan, at approximately 3,147 meters, is the highest peak in Indochina. It's located near Sapa Town and easily accessible by cable car. From the main station, it takes about 15 minutes, traveling over 6 kilometers from the valley floor, passing through the Hoang Lien passenger station. The ascent is a truly thrilling experience.
The Fansipan temple complex atop the mountain is a perfect blend of natural energy, sacred architecture, and breathtaking views above the clouds. If you're looking for both a spiritual and a mountain adventure, Fansipan is the answer. It offers both merit, views, and a boost of energy.
Tips for a Fun and Relaxing Fansipan Trip
Book tickets online in advance (for both the cable car and Peak Train) to avoid waiting in line.
Choose a morning (8:00–10:00) or afternoon (2:00–4:00 PM) time slot for good weather, beautiful light, and less crowds.
Bring non-slip shoes and a jacket, as the fog and wind are thick and strong, even in summer.
