It's time to go back, traveling from Hangzhou to Thailand

🧳 Day 8 of our China trip, it's time to return to Thailand. We used the airport transfer service from the hotel, booked through Trip.com. Very convenient! We booked the option that allows 4 pieces of 24-inch luggage (China is strict about the number of bags. Ours included one 29-inch bag, which counts as one piece) 💼

🪑 We arrived at Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou early in the morning. Our flight is with Cathay Pacific, same as the outbound flight.
11:25 AM - 2:05 PM (arriving in Hong Kong), then from Hong Kong to Suvarnabhumi 4:05 PM - 6:00 PM 🏡

🕍 The airport was not crowded, very clean and looked very new. Had a light meal, but I forgot the name of the restaurant 😅 The flight was full service as usual. The plan looked relaxed, but our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours due to heavy fog, which made our arrival in Hong Kong late as well. Experienced running to catch the plane, following the staff through a shortcut to the gate, we were all out of breath 555 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🛩 Finally, we arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, but as expected, our luggage did not arrive with us. So, we had to file a claim for the missing luggage. For travel insurance, we used MSIG, and Cathay Pacific passengers can get the claim form at the Thai Airways office directly ✈️

📍 In summary, this trip was delicious food, fun sightseeing, a bit too much sneaky smoking causing sore throats on the way back, and trying insurance claims for the first time. That wraps up our China trip 🇨🇳
