The magnificent Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, Thailand

Wat Paknam, also known as Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, is a royal temple located in the Phasi Charoen district. This temple was first built during the Ayutthaya Dynasty and has a history of about 400 years. After several ups and downs, it finally welcomed the famous abbot in 1916: the now-passed-away Luang Pu. Wat Paknam ("Founder of Wat Paknam"), his most legendary experience was the discovery of the Dhammakaya meditation method, which is believed to be the form of meditation that the Buddha once adopted. The meditation system he promoted has an influence even overseas. To this day, many Thais still place the master's portrait in their homes for worship.
Although Watergate Temple is not a popular tourist attraction, its location is also relatively remote! Since I saw her stunningly beautiful photos online, I made a special trip to take a look! After arriving, I found that there was no bustling traffic and crowds like usual in Bangkok! It allowed me to take my time to appreciate this magnificent Zen temple carefully. Its distinctive architecture, as well as the many statues of eminent monks and their abbots, is definitely a place worth visiting again!
