Old Town Bangkok: Still as Lively

People think of shopping and chaotic lively streets when Bangkok is mentioned. However, if you head to the older part of town, you'll see a less busy but yet still lively and much more culturally pleasing part of the city that's often overlooked.
Smaller streets and different small shops and street food line this part of town that includes the railway station and Chinatown. In fact, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time as these areas feel a bit different from the mall areas of Bangkok.
You'll also find different temples and the Royal Palace, which is a joy to walk around.
Overall, still as enjoyable but less busy, the older part of Bangkok is definitely worth a visit, especially for it's cultural landmarks.
