Santichaiprakarn Park is a community park built on an area of approximately 8 rai, around Phra Sumen Fort, located at the end of Phra Athit Road next to the Chao Phraya River at the mouth of Khlong Bang Lamphu. This park was built on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60th birthday anniversary on December 5, 1999. Inside the park, there is the Santichaiprakarn Throne Hall, which has the royal celebration emblem, along with a pier for receiving the royal barge, to present as a place for holding various royal traditions related to the Chao Phraya River. #Bangkok attractions #Santichaiprakarn Park
