Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan, or Wat Arun for short, was built in the Ayutthaya period, originally named Wat Chaeng, because King Taksin returned from the war just in the morning. It is a very beautiful temple located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
🌟 The highlight is the Phra Prang of Wat Arun, which is beautiful with a mixture of Thai and Chinese art and stands out majestically on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, which is a popular destination for tourists. Inside the temple, there are many Chinese stone dolls, as well as a beautiful royal chapel and ordination hall, and a Wat Chaeng giant.
🌼 The hottest new trend that you can't miss is wearing a Thai dress to visit Wat Arun. The dress rental is located behind the temple, in the Wang Derm area. We rented at Baan Wang Derm 7 for 200 baht for 3 hours. Don't forget to come and take some beautiful pictures. Don't forget to eat some ice cream with a Wat Arun tile pattern.
🌟 Easy to get to By taking a boat to Wat Arun pier
