"Must-see attractions in Thailand: Visiting Wat Arun in Bangkok"

#BangkokAttractions

Today I came to Wat Arun, one of the must-visit attractions in Bangkok! 🕌Take a boat to this temple. I recommend visiting at dusk. The weather will not be too hot and the scenery at dusk is beautiful. Upon arrival, tourists dressed in traditional Thai costumes were busy taking photos with professional photographers. Although we arrived a little late and did not prepare Thai clothes, the scenery in front of us was really breathtaking.

Temple of King Aheng, also known as Temple of Dawn. The temple was built during the Ayutthaya Dynasty and was originally named Wat Makok, which means "Olive Tree Buddhist Temple". After completion in 1809, it was rebuilt in 1847. Legend has it that after his death, Rama II buried his ashes here. Later, under the expansion of Rama III, the temple was renamed Wat Arun (Wat Arun), and received its current name during the period of Rama IV. The most important building in the temple is the main tower, which is 82 meters high and symbolizes the Buddhist sacred mountain Sumeru. In addition, there are four small accompanying pagodas representing the four continents, four Buddhist temples and various sculptures showing wonderful paintings of Hindu and Buddhist gods and beasts. Whether it is Yaksha, Buddha's Life, Deva, Kinnara, etc., the shapes and colors are all stunning and really worth savoring.

Visiting Wat Arun is like traveling at the intersection of Thai history and faith. This trip will definitely leave me with unforgettable memories! 🌟
