🏡 Wat Pracharabuetham was built in 1907 by the father of Phra Phiksu Kong and his relatives who donated land and built a temple. The temple was called Wat Bang Krabue, named after Khlong Bang Krabue because the villagers brought many buffaloes to raise in that area. Later, it was changed to Wat Pracharabuetham.
Important and interesting things in the temple are as follows:
🏠 Ubosot was built in 1954. Later in 2010, the chapel was raised 3.5 meters high to prevent flooding. A 1-meter deep tunnel was dug and many late Ayutthaya Buddha statues were found.
