#Bangkok Itinerary
Bangkok, Thailand is a world-famous tourist resort city. Every day, thousands of tourists come here for sightseeing and vacation. The Chao Phraya River is the mother river of Bangkok and even the whole of Thailand. There are many scenic spots gathered along the Chao Phraya River. This time, I will introduce a one-day tour of Chinese cultural temples and shopping malls around the iconic Rama III Bridge on the Chao Phraya River. You don’t need to buy tickets for all the attractions, you can visit and take photos for free📸.
Specific itinerary arrangements: First take public transportation or a taxi to the Opposite Wat Bang Nam Chon ตรงข้ามวัดบางน้ำชน station. After getting off the car, you will see the famous landmark building Rama III Bridge on the Chao Phraya River. The Rama III Bridge across the Chao Phraya River connects Ratchadaphisek Road in Thonburi and Rama III Road in Bang Kho Laem District. It was once known as the fifth tallest bridge in the world and was built in 1996. There are pedestrian paths along the entire bridge, and you can walk on both sides to see the bridge's architecture and the magnificent views of the Chao Phraya River on both sides. Taking photos is definitely a great idea. After visiting the bridge, we went down to the Thonburi area. Behind the bridge, there are two Chinese cultural and historical riverside temple attractions on both sides: the Yanguang Great Emperor Temple and the Doumu Palace Wanchuntan โรงเจบ้วนชุนตั๊ว. These two temples were built when the first generation of Chinese who came to Thailand settled on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. They have gone through the baptism of seven or eight generations of history and have a history of hundreds of years. Both temples are built along the river. The buildings are tall, majestic and magnificent. The exterior structures and sculptures are full of ancient Chinese artistic and cultural styles, making them very suitable for taking photos. After visiting these two temples, walk about 800 meters to reach Bangkok’s new landmark business district: Bangkok Riverside Plaza. The mall has four floors, covering a large area, gathering various Thai specialty brands, where you can buy local Thai specialties. There are also many world chain restaurant brands and various coffee and beverage shops in the business district. You can have a meal and rest here when you are tired of playing or shopping.
