"Beyond the Last Miles" by Zhang Zhanzhan

Zhang Zhanzhan, a famous contemporary Chinese artist, portrays the story of ‘life’, a long and lonely path that stretches on endlessly. But when we try to walk alone, we all try to learn to find happiness in this solitude. Solitude makes us stronger on the outside, but the heart is full of softness and sincerity.

The artist's feelings are expressed through various forms of art, whether it be paintings, sculptures, and Art Toys, which convey emotions in a simple and solitary way. Although we cannot guess the stories behind the stories by looking at the faces of the artists' characters, we will feel the warmth and happiness they bring to the audience like us.

This exhibition takes us to explore the emotions of warmth, yearning, hope, and endurance on a small candle flame in the dark, which will guide us back to the past to meet our old selves again.
