Many people have probably passed by the Phra Phrathai Palace but did not know that the palace is open for visits to generate income to take care of the palace staff. Let's take a walk around.

The palace consists of the Vaikunthadevasathan Throne Hall, Phiman Chakri Throne Hall, Si Sutthaniwat Throne Hall, Thewarat Sapharom Throne Hall, Udom Throne Hall, and Mekhala Ruchi Palace. There is a Roman garden behind the palace. The royal carriage building in front is a restaurant and coffee shop called Narasingh.

The ground floor is open every day, but only some parts are open for visits because it is part of Phra Mongkut Hospital.

On Saturdays and Sundays, there are guided tours by the Palace Lovers Club, 2 rounds a day, morning and evening.
