Phaya Thai Palace

#VisitBangkok Phaya Thai Palace is located inside Phramongkutklao Hospital. It used to be the residence of King Rama VI. It used to be the most luxurious first-class hotel until it became a medical unit under the Royal Thai Army. Currently, Phaya Thai Palace is a museum open to those who are interested in visiting. The interior is very beautiful. It is a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic and Neoclassical architecture. Behind the building is a Roman garden. There will be an officer to guide the tour and explain various stories of Phaya Thai Palace. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays have 2 shows at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.
