#Bangkok Attractions
Bangkok, Thailand is a world-famous tourist resort city. Every day, thousands of tourists come to Bangkok for sightseeing and vacation. The Chao Phraya River is the mother river of Bangkok and even the whole of Thailand. There are many temple attractions along the Chao Phraya River. This time I would like to introduce an ancient temple built along the Chao Phraya River: Wat Mahawong (วัดมหาวงษ์ ปากน้ำ สมุทรปราการ). Free to visit and take photos📸, no need to buy tickets. You need to take off your shoes when entering the temple building. The temple is close to the tourist shipping terminal and the BTS Skytrain station, making transportation very convenient. The temple was built in the Ayutthaya era in the early Siamese dynasty and has a history of hundreds of years. It is a veritable historical monument temple. It is also a third-level royal temple. The temple is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The entrance to the temple is located along Khlong Mahawong on Sukhumvit Road. Entering the temple at the foot of the bridge, you will see a two-story hall building. You have to turn left and go towards the temple. The main Buddha image in the ordination hall, which houses a replica of Luang Phor Sothorn, is the Maravichai Buddha image. There are beautiful murals inside. Looking in from the back door, you can see the magnificent view of the Chao Phraya River. Opposite is Phra Samut Chedi. Taking photos 📸 will definitely be a hit. There are not many tourists in the temple, it is quiet and peaceful, very suitable for a person to meditate and daydream.
Address: 210/1 Sukhumvit Rd, Pak Nam, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan 10270, Thailand
