Listen to the sound of silence through art

If we close our eyes tonight, what would ‘silence’ say to us? Come listen to the sound of silence through art with "Give me silence and I will outdare the night," an exhibition that invites us to dive into the border between reality and dreams through light, color, and the silence of the night by artist Wittaya Kakham.

“Give me silence and I will outdare the night” reflects the human mind at night, when all external sounds quiet down but the inner voice grows louder. The artist portrays “silence” not just as the absence of sound but as an inner space that allows us to contemplate, reflect, and reinterpret memories from a new perspective.

We will feel tranquility mixed with longing, softness, and mystery through cool-toned colors and shadows that create a living dreamlike atmosphere. Images of water, wave surfaces, beams of light, or wildflowers all symbolize time and memory. Some pieces may convey hope in the darkness, while others reveal a beautiful loneliness like poetry.

The dreamlike images in this work don’t invite immediate understanding but rather encourage us to “feel” and “remember,” as if looking into a pool of the past, where the surface may be still but beneath it, waves of emotion and memory are always moving.

Come listen to the sound of dreams and memories in the silence at the "Give me silence and I will outdare the night" exhibition.
