Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen is a historic temple established during the mid-Ayutthaya period. It is located at the mouth of Khlong Dan, connecting to Khlong Bangkok Yai, and is commonly referred to as "Wat Paknam."
Highlights within the temple include the Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratchamongkol, which stands 80 meters tall. The interior is divided into five levels, with the fifth level housing the Emerald Glass Chedi that contains sacred relics of the Buddha. Additionally, the temple features the Phra Buddha Dhammakaya Thep Mongkol, a meditating Buddha statue with a width of 40 meters and a height of 69 meters. This statue is situated alongside the Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratchamongkol and is highly visible, making it a must-visit site for worship.
