"Phra Phuttha Dhammakaya Thepmongkol" is a bronze Buddha statue in meditation posture, with a lotus bud on its lap, 40 meters wide, and 69 meters high, or the same size as a 20-story building. It is made of 99.99% pure copper. The Buddha statue's design was created according to the vision of Luang Por Sod, the former abbot of Wat Pak Nam. Luang Por Sod saw the appearance of this Buddha statue while he was meditating. It is enshrined at Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen.
Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen is a third-class royal temple, a common type, located on the banks of Khlong Luang or Khlong Bangkok Yai, which was the original Chao Phraya River before the canal was dug in front of Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan and became the Chao Phraya River today. Since the temple is located at the mouth of Khlong Dan, which is separated from Khlong Bang Luang, the name of the temple is called Wat Pak Nam, which is a name that appears in many ancient historical documents. However, a different name of the temple was found on the Bangkok maps of 1910 and 1931, which is Wat Samuttharam, but it was not popularly called that. It has always been called Wat Pak Nam.
Inside the temple, there is also the "Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratcha Mongkhon 2555", which has the only glass pagoda in the country for everyone to pay homage to. There is also a museum.
