Visiting Yannawa Temple, Bangkok

It is a really unique and peaceful temple that stands out because of its incredible boat-shaped structure. It’s not as busy as some of the bigger Bangkok temples, so you can take your time to explore without feeling rushed. The grounds are clean and well cared for, with beautiful statues and shrines dotted around. When I visited, it seemed like some renovation work was going on behind the boat shaped part of the temple so I couldn't walk that way with my daughter in the pushchair. I especially liked how welcoming it felt—locals come here to pray, but visitors are free to wander respectfully and take photos. It’s right by the river, so you get a lovely view if you can get around to the back, and it’s also close to the BTS station, making it very easy to reach. It was just 5 minutes walk from my hotel by Central Bangrak. It's definitely worth a stop if you want to see a temple that’s a little different from the usual ones in Bangkok. Bear in mind that the main buildings have steps, I just walked around the outside while my daughter slept in her pushchair.
