InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit

Celebrating another birthday at one of my favorite hotels! This time, I booked the 1 Bedroom Suite.

The InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit is a completely newly built hotel, located on Sukhumvit Road (Soi Sukhumvit 59) and just about 300 meters from BTS Thonglor.

The hotel's interior design is contemporary with a touch of Thai culture, incorporating the craftsmanship of the '10 Thai Artisans' by adapting traditional weaving and fabric patterns as the design concept. Overall, it exudes luxury, befitting the InterContinental brand.

Now, let's talk about the hotel's facilities:

This is one area I feel could improve further. The drinks are great, and the staff at the club are excellent. However, the food served during each session, especially the Evening Cocktail, tends to be lukewarm. The beef fritters are mushy, and the chicken steak is dry and cold. So, I focused on enjoying the wine instead, which I must commend for its quality—great glasses, great wine, end of story.
