InterContinental Bangkok

I celebrated my birthday in advance because I had an important work commitment on the actual day and couldn't take leave. So, I planned a stay during my birthday month at the InterContinental Bangkok, and it turned out to be a great decision. The hotel prepared the birthday decorations in such a lovely and grand way, complete with flashing lights.

This time, I stayed in the Ambassador Suite, which is a rare room type with only two available in the hotel, located on the 34th and 35th floors. My room was on the 34th floor, and it was approximately 100 square meters, offering plenty of space. The room layout is elongated and curves along the corner of the building, divided into three main zones: the living room, the bedroom, and two bathrooms.

The best views in this suite are from the living room and the main bathroom, as they are situated at the corners of the building on each side. The bedroom, located in the middle, doesn't offer as spectacular a view as the other two zones.

Club Lounge – The staff greeted me warmly, and some even remembered me from my previous stay, making the atmosphere in the lounge feel cozy and enjoyable. The food and drinks in the lounge were consistently good during all serving times. There might be some delays during weekends when the hotel is fully booked and the lounge is crowded, but overall, the management was commendable.
