Wat Arun Ratchawararam | Bangkok

The Great Prang of Wat Arun is considered the most magnificent and outstanding art, built by skilled craftsmen. The prang is decorated with glazed tiles and Benjarong porcelain imported from China, which have beautiful patterns that are ancient and rare. It has been continuously restored until the reign of King Rama V.
The area around the Great Prang of Wat Arun consists of 4 small prangs in 4 directions. Inside, there is a statue of Indra riding the Erawan elephant, a glass wall, a 3-tiered base, and statues of Mara and a sword carrying the base alternately. In addition, there are 4 niches with the incarnation of Narayana. Above is the top of the prang. There is the god Phanom Narasingh to subdue the giant.

For tourists who want to visit the Prang of Wat Arun, they should dress appropriately and be careful when walking because the stairs are quite high and steep, and some parts are quite narrow. They should also not touch or do anything that will cause damage to the prang.
