Baoshan city doesn’t seem to have many attractions worth mentioning. The Dali-Baoshan section of the Dali-Ruili Railway has been in operation for more than a year, and it only takes one and a half hours to travel from Dali to Baoshan. When I first arrived in Baoshan, my first stop was to visit Qinglong Street in Banqiao Ancient Town. The rice noodle rolls are delicious, the tea fee in the century-old teahouse is only three yuan, and the pastries in Zhilanxuan are very crispy.
Qinglong Street was an important post station on the ancient southern "Silk Road". The street layout is relatively intact, and there are several shops that display and sell intangible cultural heritage experiences. This place was only renovated two years ago and has average traffic.
