📍Casa Mila🪞
Located on Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Mila is often visited together with Casa Padró.
It is also famous as a World Heritage building designed by Gaudi🫶🏽
This building, built between 1906 and 1912, is affectionately known as Casa Mila because it was the new home of the Mila family.
Currently, four families are still living there, so only a few rooms can be visited, but there are rooms that recreate the home at the time and exhibition rooms that are open to the public☺️
As is typical of Gaudi, there are no straight lines in the building, so it has a distinctive wavy exterior.
The open atrium in the courtyard, where sunlight always pours in, was also very open and spacious~✨🥹
You can also access the roof of Casa Mila, and the unique tower on the roof is said to have been the model for Darth Vader in the movie "Star Wars"✨
If you're short on time when sightseeing in Barcelona, you might be wondering whether to go to Casa Padró or Casa Mila🤔‼ ︎
This time we went to both, but both had different charms 🥹
Personally, if you are interested in architecture and want to take a leisurely stroll, Casa Mila is the place to go, and if you want to enjoy an experiential tour of the interior even with small children, Casa Padró is the place to go 🫶🏽
If you don't have much time, use this as a reference ✊🏽✨
