Commissioned by the Batlló family, Gaudí transformed the existing house into a masterpiece. From the exterior to the internal structure, it underwent a complete transformation.
The interior courtyard is covered with tiles designed by Gaudí, transitioning from deep blue at the top to light blue and white at the bottom. The attic features an organic structure formed by Gaudí's signature catenary arches. On the rooftop terrace, the roofline resembles the side of a dragon, pierced by a marble cross with four arms and four sets of chimneys.
