Casa Vicens: Barcelona's must-see building

This is one of Gaudi's early works, one of Barcelona's most important.

There are many Gaudi works in Barcelona, but this is my favorite!

It features a uniquely Spanish architectural style, featuring extensive use of geometric patterns, and is adorable no matter how you look at it. Even the toilets and bathrooms are cute.

I've been to Barcelona many times before, but I wondered why I'd never been inside. It turns out that it became open to the public in 2017.

There's also a cafe on the premises, and the mango ice cream was delicious.

Compared to other Gaudi buildings, it's surprisingly quiet, so it was great to be able to explore at my own pace.

Another great thing is that you can easily reserve tickets on the day, even if you're pretty close!

There are two ways to book: through the official website or through a website that books travel, local tours, and activities.

Of course, you can also book through Trip.com, which offers free cancellation up until the day before.

You can get a better deal on tickets than on the official website, so I recommend it.
