🚗 After coming out of the Renlongba Glacier, I hitched a ride on the roadside, and the driver was a delivery man named Tashi. Just after leaving the glacier, there is a mountain to cross, which is not very easy to drive on. Both the uphill and downhill slopes are steep, and the turns are sharp, so if you are driving yourself, you need to pay special attention to safety. The road just out of the glacier has some potholes, so you have to be careful.
🚗 The road afterwards is relatively okay, with no signs of ice or landslides. The road follows the Sangqu River, and you can almost always catch a glimpse of the snowy mountains, which makes for a nice view. There is a spot where you can see the Zayü Grand Canyon. The water flow is not very large at this time of the season.
🚗 After coming down, the vegetation on the mountains is quite lush, and what you can see is mostly green, with very few bare mountain tops. The whole journey took a little over 3 hours, with a 20-minute break in the middle for Tashi to have a meal.
