Batu Caves is a must-visit destination in Malaysia. This place is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Batu Caves is around 400 million years old, and the temple that was built within the cave has been present for more than a century.

Batu Caves is about 13 kilometres from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It can be easily reached by KTM Komuter train from KL Sentral station to Batu Caves station, it cost around RM2.

Fun Fact: that huge golden sculpture of Lord Murugan is about 140 feet high!
