A Toast Lover’s Paradise: Breakfast at Eat Toast in Batu Pahat

#newyearnewtrip #travelanywhere On the third morning of our trip, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast at Eat Toast, a well-known local gem nestled in Batu Pahat’s Jalan Desa Botani neighborhood. This charming eatery has earned a reputation for its exceptional variety of toasts, drawing in a steady stream of regulars, all seemingly savoring their favorite toast options. While the menu does feature other hearty offerings like nasi lemak, it's the toasts that truly define this place. Whether it's kaya, peanut, tuna, or chicken floss toast, the choices are as diverse as they are delicious.

We couldn’t resist trying the signature French toast, which arrived lavishly drenched in a velvety syrup that made each bite irresistibly sweet and indulgent. The fried sesame bowl was another revelation—perfectly chewy, with just the right amount of bite and none of the greasiness that often accompanies such treats. The smoked duck sandwich was equally impressive, offering a savory contrast with its rich, tender duck paired with fresh ingredients.

Although the matcha toast and matcha French toast looked particularly inviting on the menu, both had sold out early, leaving us with something to look forward to on our next visit. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a cool, air-conditioned indoor area that provides a comfortable space to enjoy breakfast in peace. Given how satisfying our meal was, we’ll certainly be returning—next time, just for the toasts!
