Dongjiaominxiang is probably the most romantic hutong in Beijing.

When I was a child, my family lived near Dongjiaomin Lane. We would walk along this street to go to Tongren Hospital. It was very comfortable to walk along this street under the shade of trees.
Dongjiaomin Lane is a European-style street with embassies, churches, banks, and clubs. The existing buildings include the French Embassy, Austro-Hungarian Embassy, Belgian Embassy, Japanese Embassy, Italian Embassy, and British Embassy. These buildings retain the eclectic style popular in Europe and America in the early 20th century, with clear water bricks for lines and pilasters, brick arches with outer corridors, wooden corner purlin frames, and iron slope roofs. Dongjiaomin Lane is not only the longest hutong in Beijing, but also an important historical and cultural protection area, showcasing important relics of modern history.
