Xitang Beijing|A Poetic Life Hidden in the Mountains

As the saying goes, "First came the Tanzhe Temple, then came Beijing City." It's been many, many years since my last visit to Tanzhe Temple. Today, I decided to avoid the crowds and brought my family for a leisurely visit.
*Drive to Tanzhe Temple Parking Lot No. 1—it's quite spacious.
*The temple offers free incense for visitors (three sticks per person). Sincerity is all that matters to the Buddha.
By the time we left Tanzhe Temple, it was past noon. A short 400-meter drive brought us to Fuyuan Yaju Iron Pot Stew, where we ordered a 2-3 person portion of their signature free-range chicken stew. Delicious, generous portions, and reasonably priced!
After lunch, a 10-minute drive up the mountain took us to our booked stay at Fanny Inn Courtyard. Nestled within Ziyang Villa, the courtyard is accessible only to pre-registered vehicles. A private, tranquil, and cozy retreat.
The courtyard features four bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen—perfect for a lively barbecue if four families were to gather [Cheers].
The housekeeper brought us sliced watermelon. After a short rest, we enjoyed coffee, fruits, and chats in the pavilion at dusk... At night, from the second-floor balcony, we marveled at the stars, spotting the Big Dipper clearly—pure joy 😃.
The next morning, breakfast was delivered to our courtyard. Another sunny day! Some of us exercised, some admired the scenery, and some simply daydreamed. By noon, it was time to check out and head home—perfect 😍.
