• Established: Qingyunlou was founded in 1820 during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, making it the earliest high-end Shandong cuisine restaurant in Beijing.

• Historical Changes: It was once a gathering place for high officials and literati. Later, it closed down as the owner pursued other businesses, and its key members dispersed to form the famous "Eight Great Restaurants" in Beijing. In 2010, the descendants of the Zhu family rebuilt it on the original site, restoring its former appearance.

Architectural Features

• Unique Style: Following the principle of restoring ancient buildings as they were, it retains the traditional Chinese wooden building mortise and tenon structure. The entire building maintains the natural color of the wood, with minimal use of varnish, exuding a rustic charm.
