Great Wall of China Mutianyu

One of the world's wonders you must not miss 🌎✨
We chose to visit the Mutianyu section because it has been fully restored and is conveniently located about 1.5 hours from downtown Beijing. Booking a one-day tour to this section is quite easy.

This section is divided into two sides:

- **West Side**: Access via cable car (both up and down).
The main walking route is from Tower 14 to Tower 20.

Tower 20 offers the most stunning and highest viewpoint in this section, allowing you to see the Great Wall stretching endlessly into the horizon. However, be prepared for the stairs at Tower 20—they are long and extremely steep towards the end, guaranteed to make your legs tremble 🥴.

A popular photo spot is between Tower 13 and Tower 12. Even standing at Tower 14 and looking back towards Tower 13 offers a beautiful view.

- **East Side**: Access via chair lift (up) and descend via the toboggan slide.
The main walking route is from Tower 6 to Tower 1, with the highlight being Tower 4.

If you're looking for a unique experience, riding the toboggan slide is highly recommended on the east side.
