Fanjingshan is one of the most ecologically rich mountains in China, often referred to as a “Noah’s Ark for Plants and Animals.”

It’s home to more than 2,000 species of plants, some of which are relic species from the Tertiary period.

The forest ecosystem includes dense subtropical forests, moss-covered cliffs, and ancient rhododendrons.
