Detailed Route

1. Transportation

Exit Exit B of Yuanmingyuan Station on Metro Line 4. Scan the QR code on a shared bike and ride directly to the East Gate for 10 minutes (use the navigation to locate "Old Summer Palace East Gate").

2. Core Tour

Enter the park through the East Gate and walk about 200 meters straight to the Western Building Ruins (including the Grand Fountain, Water Viewing System, and the Maze).

It is recommended to stay for 40 minutes to experience the historical awe of the ruins. Photos are recommended at the Yellow Flower Maze.

3. Water Tour

Exit the West Gate of the Ruins and walk 8 minutes to Fuhai Pier.

Take a sightseeing boat directly to the park's South Gate. The 15-minute boat ride offers stunning views of the lake and mountains.

4. Return Trip Tips
After exiting the park through the South Gate, turn right and walk along the sidewalk for three minutes to reach the subway station.

Notes

· During peak season, it's recommended to enter the park after 3:00 PM to avoid tour groups.
· The last boat departure is 6:00 PM, so please allow time for entry.
· The East Gate entrance is small, so please read the signs carefully.
