Fukuoka – Beppu Hell Hot Springs Travel Review
It takes about 2 hours from Fukuoka to Beppu by JR train.
Beppu, where I arrived while looking at the scenery outside the train window,
was a place that perfectly fits the description of ‘Hot Springs City’.
Chinoike Hell – Blood-red Hot Springs
The first place I arrived at was ‘Hyeolchi Hot Springs’.
The water was really blood-red and boiling.
I exclaimed ‘Wow’ as soon as I saw it,
and I also bought skin ointment and soap made from the hot spring water.
Umi Hell – Blue Dragon’s Breath
This place is blue on the contrary.
Smoke was rising from the clear and deep blue-green hot spring water,
and I was completely overwhelmed by the unrealistic color. There is a garden inside, so I took a walk,
and you must eat the pudding steamed in the hot spring. It is really delicious!
Kamado Jigoku – Fun like a set
This place is small but diverse.
The bubbling gray, blue, and white hot springs are all gathered in one place,
so it was great for taking pictures, and I also ate eggs made from the hot spring water.
Tatsumaki Jigoku – The power of the geyser
If you wait, the sight of the water gushing out with a 'pong!' is spectacular.
The fountain that bursts briefly at the end of the wait is a must-see.
Overall
Highly recommended for solo or leisurely couples.
A must-visit place for hot spring enthusiasts.
It was a journey that melted my eyes, heart, and body.
