Unusually, Rex Hotel requires you to take off your shoes at the entrance. They're stored in a locker at the entrance. It's convenient to be able to go straight to the large bathhouse for the hot springs and the restaurant for breakfast, without having to put on your shoes. And of course, it's so clean you can even walk around in socks!

There are separate men's and women's areas on the 8th floor, and you need to use your room key to enter. The changing rooms are clean and provide basic necessities like toner, lotion, a comb, a hair dryer, and cotton swabs, but you'll need to bring your own towels from your room. Like a typical Korean bathhouse, there's a private washroom and an indoor bath, with an outdoor open-air bath to the left. I visited both morning and evening, and on a weekday in mid-December, there were only one to three other people sharing the space. You can check the crowd level on the TV in your room, as shown below, so it's helpful to note.

The breakfast menu at Rex Hotel isn't extensive, but it's clean and tasty. The view is even better if you sit by the window... Rex Hotel is a great place to eat with a view.
