A Weekend in Berlin: History, Culture, and Urban Energy

#postandearn
Berlin greeted me with a mix of history, creativity, and raw energy. I started at the Brandenburg Gate, then walked down Unter den Linden to Museum Island. The architecture was stunning — from the grand Berliner Dom to the modern Humboldt Forum.

Checkpoint Charlie and the East Side Gallery reminded me of the city’s divided past. Seeing the murals on the Berlin Wall, especially with messages of peace and unity, was powerful.

I explored neighborhoods like Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, full of street art, indie cafés, and an alternative vibe. The contrast with the sleek Potsdamer Platz or the quiet Tiergarten park showed just how diverse Berlin is.

In the evening, I tried currywurst and sat by the Spree as the sun went down. Berlin has a way of being both relaxed and buzzing with life. It’s a place where every corner tells a story — and I left with the feeling that there’s still so much more to discover.
