My visit to Berlin was a journey through layers of history and modern culture. I started at the Brandenburg Gate, a powerful symbol of unity, before walking down Unter den Linden toward Museum Island, where world-class collections brought centuries of art and history to life. Standing at the Berlin Wall Memorial and East Side Gallery was an unforgettable moment – seeing the murals and fragments of the wall made me reflect on the city’s divided past.
I also visited the Reichstag, where the glass dome offered both incredible views and a sense of transparency in politics. Potsdamer Platz impressed me with its futuristic architecture, while Alexanderplatz kept me in the middle of Berlin’s urban buzz. In the evening, strolling along the Spree River and enjoying a relaxed dinner gave me another perspective of the city’s energy.
What I loved most about Berlin was its mix of history, creativity, and openness. It’s a city that tells its story at every corner yet feels vibrant and alive, making every visit memorable.
