Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) – Hobart, TAS

MONA was unlike any museum I’ve ever visited—provocative, mind-bending, and unapologetically weird (in the best way). I arrived via the MONA ferry from Hobart, and even that was quirky and fun. Inside, exhibits range from ancient artifacts to shocking modern installations. One piece literally made the entire room vibrate. There’s also a winery and restaurant on-site with stunning views over the Derwent River. It’s arty, edgy, and makes you think—definitely not your typical museum.
