It takes over 2 hours from Central by BMT, so I chose to join a one-day tour instead for convenience! 🚌

Must-visit spots:

Lincoln’s Rock 🪨
Blue Mountains & the Scenic World Cableways 🚡
🔥 Red Cableway – Highly Recommended!
Out of the three cable cars, this one is by far the most fun! With a steep incline of 52°, it’s actually built on the old coal railway tracks. The ride is short (about 3 mins), but totally worth it! 🎢

💛 Yellow Cableway – Great Views!
Features a glass-bottom floor, so you can look straight down into the valley! You’ll also get amazing views of Katoomba Falls from the left side. 🌊🌄

Suggested route:
Red or Blue Cableway ⬇️ down to the valley → walk through (coal mine entrance, ventilation shaft, miner’s hut) 🚶♀️⛏️ → Red or Blue Cableway ⬆️ up → take Yellow Cableway across → see Katoomba Falls 💦

‼️ Note: No toilets down in the valley. There is a drinking fountain, but I still recommend bringing your own water. 💧🚫🚽
