The beautiful square of Bruges, Grote Markt

Grote Markt means “big market” in Dutch, and it is the heart of Bruges.
As soon as I arrived in Bruges, I headed to the Grote Markt in the center of the city.
Traditional houses with colorful roofs lined up, the Belfry Tower that seems to pierce the sky,
and carriages and bicycles freely moving between them—everything was like a fairy tale.
Grote Markt is not just a square, but a place like a stage where Bruges’ history comes alive.
The quiet foggy scenery at dawn, the lively scenery during the day, and the beautifully lit night are all charming.
It is a classic market that you must experience on your trip to Bruges.
