Arriving at Grote Markt, the central square of Bruges, I was greeted by the bustling weekend market under colorful canopies. The fresh scent of fruits and flowers, the rich aroma of cheese, and the sweet smell of waffles being baked—this vibrant market scene brought a smile to my face.

Next to the stalls selling local craft beers and handmade chocolates, an elderly woman was quietly arranging lace items she had woven herself. Watching her, I felt that Bruges is a city connected by people and their touch.

Rather than grand landmarks, Bruges is a city where every moment of walking and observing becomes a journey. The lively energy of the market and the serene calm of the alleys coexist beautifully in this city.
