A casual stop at Harajiri Falls

Harajiri Falls
936-1 Harajiri, Ogata-cho, Bungo-Ono City, Oita Prefecture

120 meters wide and 20 meters high, it is one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan and one of the 100 most scenic spots in Oita Prefecture certified by the Oita Bungo-Ono Geopark, and is known as the Niagara of the Orient.

There is a roadside station next door, so you can easily stop by.

In spring, tulips bloom beautifully.

There is also a suspension bridge, so you can see the waterfall from a different angle.

The roadside station has a restaurant and souvenirs, and the dishes made with Oita's unique chicken tempura and shiitake mushrooms were very delicious!

There was also a rare tulip soft serve!
