Gwangalli Beach Review – A beach where you can walk all day and relax all night
I went to Busan and chose to stay near Gwangalli Beach because I wanted to experience both food, evening, and the view of the light bridge — and it met my needs in unexpected detail.
⸻
🌞 Morning-Afternoon: Chilling by the sea
• The curve of the beach is more than 1.4 km long. The fine sand, clear water, and the view of Gwangan Bridge that stretches as a backdrop in every picture is simple and beautiful.
• During the day, the atmosphere is chill, suitable for walking along the sea, enjoying the view of the city, and secretly going into the water (most people don't go because the water is still cold)).
• There are many coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants along the beach. There are both good views and various prices (from local to international).
⸻
🎆 Evening-Night: View of the light bridge & Drone show
• The lights of Gwangan Bridge are bright and rainbow-colored, reflecting on the water like a painting of night life.
• There is a Marvelous Drone Light Show every Saturday night. Time varies depending on the season, such as 20:00 and 22:00 in some periods.
• If it is not on Saturday, there is also a live street performance or a small night market at Millak Waterside Park on the beach. There are both street food and a great local vibe.
⸻
🍣 Local food & atmosphere
• Millak Raw Fish Market on the southern side of the beach is a place to eat fresh seafood in a very local style. There are many standing restaurants selling squid, shrimp, and raw fish.
• Restaurants with a nice atmosphere, such as LA Bar and Grill, a corner by the beach with a view of the bridge. There are beers and hamburgers that Western food lovers will love.
• A cafe with a sea view is suitable for those who like to take pictures, chill with iced coffee, and listen to soft music.
