This is another shop that helped start the trend of salt bread, or "sogumpang" in Korea, which has become a hit across Asia. Ja Yeon Do is one of them.
Their first branch is usually in Seongsu, a must-visit spot in Seoul! But this time, we were in Busan. While we were on the train ride to the station, we found out they had opened a branch in Busan. We were so excited! We immediately jumped in line! 🤩
The aroma of butter filled the air as we waited. They sell them in sets of four for 12,000 won. The pieces are large and juicy, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of saltiness. Personally, I find them more croissant-like than bread-like. But they're so delicious! We'll definitely be back! Just talking about them makes me want to eat them again! 😆
📍Location: Jayeondo Sogeumpang (The Busan branch is right across from the entrance to Haeundae Blue Line Park. 🚋)
