A visual delight where nature and art harmonize

#SeptemberTravelSupport
The Busan Museum of Contemporary Art, a public art museum in Busan that opened in June 2018, is located in the lush natural surroundings of Eulsukdo Island, next to the Nakdong River estuary. The entire site spans approximately 29,900 square meters, with a building floor area of 15,312 square meters. With an exhibition space of 5,910 square meters, it's ample space to appreciate a diverse range of contemporary art. The museum's exterior is designed like a vertical garden, with plants growing along the walls, creating a visual delight that harmonizes nature and art. Inside, a children's art library, a café, and an experience center provide a space for leisure and learning for all ages. Opening hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While some special exhibitions require a fee, regular exhibitions, including the permanent collection, are free. It's the perfect place to enjoy an artistic stroll amidst the natural landscapes of Eulsukdo Island's reed fields and the Nakdong River estuary. We highly recommend it for a day when you want to escape the noise of the city and recharge your senses.
