Visiting the historic mosque in the heart of Cairo exceeded all expectations.

📍 Muhammad Ali Mosque (also known as the Alabaster Mosque)
Located on a hill within the Citadel, it offers a panoramic view of Cairo 🏙️. This mosque, entirely constructed from marble, is stunningly beautiful, delicate, and grand. Inside, it is peaceful, with sunlight streaming through stained glass windows and reflecting off the marble floor, creating a scene straight out of a movie.

We visited in the morning when there weren’t many tourists, allowing us to sit quietly and admire the intricate details of the ancient Islamic architecture. It felt like a moment of inner peace and a deep connection to a different culture 🙏🏻.

For those who love architecture, history, or want to experience a different side of Egypt beyond the pyramids, I highly recommend visiting the mosques in Cairo. It’s an absolute must-see 💫.
